Shoes might just be the most underrated way to express yourself, but Insignia Shoes know how to make a statement! I’d walked past their store countless times in Lake City Mall, drawn in by the mall’s stunning design and the store’s sleek displays, but I always held back. Why? Because I knew that once I bought one pair, I wouldn’t be able to stop myself from wanting more. But last weekend, with a little extra time and a tad bit of courage, I finally gave in and stepped inside. Spoiler alert: I was right—and it was totally worth it! I kinda felt like I stepped into one of the best shoe stores in Lahore.
If you’re not familiar with the Insignia Lake City Mall branch, let me tell you. Insignia is a high-end Pakistani footwear brand that’s also a top women’s footwear brand that has been around since 2011. This branch is located within Lake City Mall. Insignia, in just over a decade, has become a major player in the local market, with over 50 outlets across Pakistan. Their goal? To become one of the world’s most cherished luxury shoe brands in Pakistan fast fashion industry. And honestly, they’re making headlines in that direction!
They’ve got something for everyone—bags, clutches, women’s shoes, men’s shoes, and accessories. Whether you need polished loafers, casual sneakers, or heels that scream “main character energy” for a wedding, they’ve got it. Heads-up, though: prices vary. You’ll find items starting at 1,000 PKR and going up to 20,000 PKR. Affordable luxury shoes? Kind of, but not exactly.
The moment I stepped into the store at Lake City Mall, I was greeted by a sleek, modern, and minimalist vibe. Everything—from the shoe displays to the overall layout—was curated with a clean aesthetic that made browsing a breeze. It’s the kind of setup that instantly tells you this brand knows how to keep things classy and streamlined.
That said, a touch of warmer lighting could elevate the space even more—adding that cosy, Instagram-worthy glow we all secretly love. The space at Lake City Mall does lean on the compact side, especially when foot traffic picks up. But if you're popping in during off-peak hours, it's actually the perfect spot for a quick, peaceful shopping experience without the usual mall chaos.
Let’s get to the fun part—the shoes! Browsing their collection felt like flipping through a luxury footwear catalogue. The slingbacks? So chic, they practically whisper, “Wear me to your next fancy event.” The moccasins? Perfect for when you want to be comfy and classy. And the sneakers? Trendy enough to rival global brands but with a unique, local touch that made them stand out.
I tried on a pair of block heels in the dreamiest off-white shade. The fit was perfect, and walking in them felt like stepping on clouds. What really surprised me, though, was the comfort. Most branded heels leave you counting the minutes until you can take them off, but these? Zero pain. Every detail—from the straps to the sole—screamed quality at Insignia which undoubtedly has the most comfortable shoes in Pakistan. It made me understand why their price tags are a little on the higher side.
As much as I loved the experience and the Lake City Mall branch, Insignia isn’t without its flaws. Yes, the styles are gorgeous, and the comfort is unmatched, but the prices? A bit steep for the average shopper. For example, a pair of basic pumps was priced at nearly 6,000 PKR. It’s enough to make you think, “Could I buy an entire outfit for that?”
Also, while the collection is extensive (yay, variety!), the store’s small size can make it feel a bit overwhelming, especially during busy hours. But hey, nothing’s perfect, right?
Here’s the thing: Insignia isn’t just selling shoes—they’re selling value. Whether you’re walking into a big meeting or just running errands, their designs make you feel like you’ve got your life together, even on the messiest days.
So, would I recommend Insignia? Absolutely. Sometimes, you’ve just got to treat yourself. And trust me, when the shoes are this good, they’re worth the splurge.
For me, it totally did! Being located in the aesthetically pleasing and thoughtfully designed Lake City Mall covers up some of its flaws. The mall’s
ambience adds to the overall experience, making the visit feel a bit more special. Honestly, it’s a solid 9/10 for me! It’s as good as the other shoe brand - Unze.
