Alright, let me spill some tea about my guilty pleasure that’s slowly turning into a full-time hobby: window shopping. I do it all the time! Lake City Mall is so pretty—c’mon, I can’t resist going back and forth. Honestly, isn’t window shopping a universal pastime for all of us, irrespective of gender? I mean, can you even call it a shopping trip if you’re not wandering the aisles, dreaming about filling your cart with everything in sight?

But this time, I decided to change things up. I told myself, “No more just looking!” and finally treated myself at one of my all-time favourite stores: Limelight.

Every girl dreams of looking effortlessly chic, even while rocking budget-friendly pieces. Let’s be real—if that’s your vibe too, Limelight Lake City Mall is the place to be! This is going to be a long Limelight review, so hold your horses.

For those who don’t know, Limelight has been serving up iconic looks since 2010. With over 80 stores across Pakistan and an online shop that ships worldwide, they’ve built quite a reputation. And honestly, the numbers speak for themselves. What can’t this brand do? They got all your needs covered. Especially Limelight Lahore branch. 

They’ve got everything: praise-worthy perfumes, chic outfits for men, women, and kids, plus accessories to complete any look. Limelight drops new collections every week, so you might just want to bookmark their page or revisit their Lake City branch every week! Whether you’re hunting for Western styles, traditional attire, or even fragrances and accessories, they’ve got it all.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again—if you’re looking to slay without blowing your budget, Limelight is where it’s at. Every time I visit, it feels like their designs and variety just keep leveling up. It’s honestly hard to leave empty-handed! After a full-on store raid (shoutout to the super-helpful staff) and trying on three different pieces—a furry sweater, a rib-knit long dress, and a velvet co-ord set this winter—I made up my mind to leave with a Western co-ord set that screamed effortless luxury. The fit of the co-ord set was just perfect! So while wandering the store and indulging in a little retail therapy, I reflected on the positive and not-so-positive aspects of Limelight. Here I go…

Here’s what I think.

The Good Vibes Only List & Best Fashion Finds at Limelight:

• Spacious Layout: You can roam around without bumping into racks every two seconds, unlike some popular clothing stores.
• So Much Variety: They’ve got everything—Western fits, traditional kurtas, 2-pieces, 3-pieces, bags, shoes, and accessories galore!
• Prices like no other brand: Their most luxurious velvet collection starts at 4,700 PKR and goes up to 19,000 PKR max! At Sana Safinaz, you’ll find velvet collection starting at 20,000 Rupees. Huge difference. Right?
• Great Staff: The team knows their stuff and will help you snag the best-selling pieces like a pro. I was searching for Western fits, and to my surprise, they suggested the best ones for me! Hands down it’s one of the best clothing stores in Lake City Mall! 
• Affordable Glam: Perfect for when you want to slay but keep it budget-friendly. Prices vary heavily, starting at as low as 1k and going up to 18K.

But Here’s the Catch:

While Limelight checks most boxes, consistency in quality is where they sometimes miss the mark. Some outfits I bought have lasted ages, while a pair of heels I picked up didn’t even survive the trial run at home. The heels cracked despite being only an inch long! But that said, their velvet collection is an absolute chef’s kiss. So, while it’s not always perfect, the hits far outweigh the misses. I’d give Limelight a solid 9/10.
