• After extensive work and tenders, Lake City has finalized Habib Rafiq Ltd as our contractors to complete all civil works and amenities in First Phase - Bella Vista. Their contract is signed and delivery of works will be 18 months from date.

• Mr. George Widowson joins our team to head The Golf Course Construction and Design Division, an Australian with extensive hands on experience in developing Golf Residential Communities around the world.

• For the construction of thematic build Villas in Phase-1 (Bella Vista), Housing Division is placed under the supervision of highly talented/professional Rear Admiral (Retd) Saeed Sarghana (Executive Director).
• Transfer & Record Division is created headed by very experienced professional Maj (Retd) Fazal Ellahi (Manager - Transfer & Record).

• Lake City has hired a team of highly competent/technical personnel for Project Development Division under the supervision of Brig (Retd) Shadab (Executive Director).
• Construction of boundary wall started around our housing scheme to secure our client's properties.

• Top 10 local and international contractors pre-qualify from China, Malaysia, UK, Turkey and Pakistan for final bidding

• In-depth research begins to find the best architect to design Pakistan's first ever 18-hole PGA standard golf course nestled within Lake City, Pakistan's first golf resort community
• 80% lands completed in phase i, Bella Vista, on 8000 kanals, as per the laws and submitted to Lahore Developmental Authority for approval

April 2005

• Master plan approval by the Lake City Board after 4 months of extensive research by the management to bring the project at par with international standards. More than 100 master plans studied and analyzed from January to April in this process

January 2005

• 1st master plan submission by Meinhardt takes place
• Punjab Government passes the first real estate laws of their kind in the country upon the initiation of Lake City, to protect the interests of common and genuine investors, where no project shall be allowed without first submitting the master plan, and, until 80% of the land is un-encumbered and totally free of litigation
